Bare Earth

Bare Earth is a skincare brand concept centered on the quiet beauty of natural materials, organic textures, and the purity of elements drawn from the earth. Designed by Madalena Velloso, the project embraces the tactile qualities of embossed paper, soft mineral tones, and delicate botanical forms to create a brand identity that feels both grounded and refined.

The packaging design uses subtle relief patterns inspired by wildflowers, pine branches, and mineral formations. These elements echo the brand’s philosophy that skincare should reconnect people with the natural world through texture, ritual, and sensory experience. The muted palette of sage greens, stone blues, and warm neutrals reinforces the calm, restorative tone of the brand while allowing the embossed surfaces to become the primary visual expression.

Typography is intentionally restrained and minimal, allowing the materiality of the packaging to take center stage. The result is a visual identity that feels timeless and quietly luxurious, positioning Bare Earth within the growing movement of natural skincare brands that prioritize simplicity, sustainability, and sensory authenticity.
