I'm Shane. I run Fivestar as a studio of one — not because I haven't grown, but because the work I want to do can't be diluted by a team.

I believe a brand is more than a logo. It's a vessel — for what the founder believes, for how the product is made, for how it feels in someone's hands. I build brands from the name up: the word, the mark, the palette, the typography, the paper, the photography, the materiality. Every layer matters, because every layer is the brand.

I work best with founders who are building something personal — a second act, a long-held idea, a quiet conviction made tangible. The ones who already know what good looks like, who care about the small things, and who want a creative partner rather than a vendor.
